This is a privately run and hosted server. It is used for my private photos/videos and to archive data that is in the public domain or that has been abandoned.

What I do is not terribly expensive, but it does cost me. There is the electricity, hardware, internet provider (ISP), and the domain. Hardware wears out, hard drives get full, and as internet traffic increases, I need to increase my bandwidth.
