================================================================================ The complete C64 music collection Jens-Christian Huus ================================================================================ Editor worktunes in NewPlayer v05.02 - v06.01, 1988. These tunes is the oldest tunes that can be loaded into editor v3.04. The players are very old - I do not recommended that you compose anything in them, but if you must, remember to use NP-PACKER v2.5 to pack the tunes. The best and most advanced players you can use is v17.G1, v19.G1 or v20.G4. Read more about this in the main textfile. The music in this directory is old (1988) and not of a very great quality. ================================================================================ GROOVY_4.DAT Groovy.4 After the first 30 seconds of music with strange bird noises, it goes into a "kinetix"-like piece using hard synchronization. HIGHSCOR.DAT Highscore Cute little hiscore ditty. LOVE_3.DAT Cause I Love Her So A worktune where I imagine the words above "sung" to the notes from 14-30 seconds of play. Notice that that part from 00:30 was in fact extracted to form the release song "Real Shit", found elsewhere. SANDY.DAT Sandy Now this is quite interesting. Here you can see what happens if you assign the chords, drums and basses to all three voices in such a way that making a leader to it is virtually impossible. If you listen closely (and see in the editor), you can see that I only had a little "hole" for 3-4 notes after every chord stroke. No wonder I didn't finish this tune... SWEET_2.DAT Sweet.2 Nice bassdrum. One of the tunes I really should have completed. TEST10_2.DAT Test 10.2 This was later packed and spread as "Memory I". TEST11_1.DAT Test 11.1 Finetune test where two of the voices are phased together. TEST12_2.DAT Test 12.2 Last tune in the "Test"-series. I tried to make it title-like. Certainly not one of the best of that period! ;) WEIRDONE.DAT Weird One My first attempt at making an "end-of-level-monster"-ditty. ================================================================================
